Dark Times

The past few weeks have been difficult for me, both emotionally and physically. It is hard to stay positive when the source of your unhappiness are things outside of your control. When I heard about the bounty program hosted by cartesi, i was motivated and excited, as it gave me something to look forward to, a healthy distraction that would only improve my skills as a developer.

Cartesi is a new technology for the web3 space that allows for application-specific rollups with a Linux runtime. From how i understand it, it allows you to take certain tasks of the blockchain and run it in the cartesi virtual machine, making it faster and cheaper, plus it allows development of Decentralized applications with a more familiar tech stack like javascript or python, rather than writing raw solidity, thereby improving the developer experience problem
